In this 5-week Burlesque workshop you will learn the history and background of Burlesque, how to develop a character, create an act, and choreograph a striptease to music. After the workshop you will be invited to be apart and perform with Colorado Springs Only Burlesque, Boylesque Variety Troupe; Peaks and Pasties! Day One- First Hour: Burlesque History, Neo-Burlesques Troops: Videos Second Hour:The fundamentals of classic Burlesque dance technique; Shimmy, Shake, Bump, Grind and other Traditional Burlesque Movements. Costume Removal, Creation Character and Burlesque Name.
DayTwo ~ Two Hours Costumes~ construct a costume that reflects your character. Costumes should have layers and easy to take off, Pasties Workshop. With Ruby Sparkle

First Hours -Review Movements and learn Graduation piece: Bombshell, More Character Work Second Hour: MUSIC
