Testimonials:

Lola, I was blown away watching you & women dancing at Nocturnal Mockery.  I wrote an essay about how it changes my thinking at a workshop the next day saying how it gave me an understanding of the kind of feminism Camille Paglia has been talking about for years- you are fabulous to do this for women- your grace and power is awesome. I totally get it and will try to clue in the “North End Ladies” who just don’t get it. I am proud of you. You really have to see it for yourself- the dance- to understand what burlesque is”

~ Kate Boddington, Colorado Springs

“In the early 90's I worked extensively in the music and entertainment industry. I can honestly say on a personal level, my experiences with Peaks and Pasties have been the most enjoyable.  The exuberance, passion, and unbridled talent the troupe embodies are indeed a gift to be part of.  Everyone brings a unique aspect to the show infused with a personal flair.  It is sincerely an honor to be a participant in this terrific organization that presents a fantastic blend of culture, art, and dance into one unique group.”

Dan Howell, Colorado Springs

"Working with Peaks and Pasties was fantastic! They brought a lot of

energy to the 2009 Colorado College Drag Ball Gayla, and it was wonderful

to bridge communities. We look forward to working with them next year!"
